В Верховлянах почтили жертв фашистского террора
22 марта – трагический день в истории нашей страны. В этот день 83 года назад фашистские оккупанты сожгли вместе с жителями деревню Хатынь. Название этого небольшого села со временем стало символом трагедии народа Беларуси во время Великой Отечественной войны. Вспоминая Хатынь, мы вспоминаем тысячи других белорусских деревень, уничтоженных немецко-фашистскими захватчиками. В каждой области, каждом районе Беларуси есть «сестра» Хатыни. В Берестовицком районе это деревня Верховляны. Сегодня здесь состоялся митинг-реквием, посвященный памяти мирных жителей, уничтоженных фашистскими карателями в годы Великой Отечественной войны. 20 июля 1942 года злодеяния нацистских захватчиков достигли своего апогея – деревня Верховляны была сожжена.
